District Staff

Executive Director: Steven D. Burke, sburke@williamshorepool.org
Steve started working for the District as an Advisory Committee member when the district was formed in 2009.  Steve then was hired as the Executive Director in December 2010.  Steve has been involved to operating commercial pools for over two decades and is certified as a Aquatic Facility Operator  and has graduated from the National Aquatics Management School.

Aquatics Manager: Seth Leighton, sleighton@williamshorepool.org

Seth joined the William Shore Memorial Pool team in September of 2011. He holds a Recreation Management degree from Central Washington University and a Certified Pool/Spa Operator Certification from the National Swimming Pool Foundation . Seth is a SAI and ARC certified lifeguard and a SAI certified lifeguard instructor.  His duties include hiring, training, and scheduling staff; developing camps and special events; and overseeing daily activities and operations.

Assistant Manager : James Schultz, jschultz@williamshorepool.org

James Schultz joined William Shore Pool in January 2013.   He has worked in the Recreation and Aquatic field for more than 11 years.   He has a Master’s degree in Specialized Ministry from Portland Oregon and holds an Aquatic Facility Operator Certification from NRPA.  James is a SAI and ARC certified lifeguard, a SAI and ARC Lifeguard Instructor, ARC water safety instructor, and a NUAI Scuba diver.
