About Us
In 2012, we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary as a community pool for the Port Angeles area. The William Shore Memorial Pool has served the community of Port Angeles by providing aquatic recreational programs people of all ages. Recently, the William Shore Pool has become a Pool District and is now running as a independent public agency.
The District is committed to providing a wide variety of aquatic programs for all ages and interest groups including senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The recreational programs are supported in a major way by user fees with pool maintenance being subsidized by tax dollars.
